Cabin in Moonlit Snowy Forest

This painting was made based on a painting by Bob Ross I saw on one of his many painting videos. I essentially tried to reproduce his work using his onscreen instruction. It was made with relatively large brushes, as was his style. I really liked the softness of the image, especially the snow. He managed to create a warm feeling in a cool environment. Although I eventually expanded my style beyond his, I owe him a debt of gratitude for helping me overcome my insecurities to find joy in painting. As an artist and teacher, he is my first and greatest inspiration.
