Onions

This painting was made based on a friend’s photograph. I was intrigued by the many different shapes and sizes of the onions, as well as their unique textures. I like the way the entire photograph was only onions. As it turns out, I love onions and I especially love very slowly preparing them in a frying pan, which actually mimics how I like to paint.
