Putting Clothes Out to Dry

This painting was made based on a photograph taken by a friend. I actually only had a black-and-white image as my resource, and I was able to improvise the colours. It also took me a long time even to notice the figure in the background, and I was intrigued by her presence and potential relationship with the couple hanging their wet clothes.
