Street Scene in Florence

This painting is based on a photograph I took in Italy. I was intrigued by the young man at the bottom right as he was leaning on his bike and seemed to be watching all these other people. I also enjoyed trying to capture the interesting and brightly coloured buildings framing the people walking around. I had a sense of old and new in harmony in this one scene.
